Multi-Faceted Design
The RockBrawler™ Rear Bumper's high clearance, multi-faceted design provides the best possible departure angles and corner obstacle clearance. Its appearance is streamlined and sexy, not like the squarish, boxy shape of many other bumpers on the market. The RockBrawler™ is constructed of CNC laser cut, brake-formed 3/16" plate steel. The multiple bends and facets actually lend even more strength to the bumper design. Unlike Poison Spyder's BFH™ Rear Bumper for JK, the RockBrawler™ Rear Bumper can be mounted without cutting or altering the Jeep's frame rails.
Recessed Back-Up Lamps
Very few JK rear bumpers come with provisions for mounting backup lamps. Of those that do, fewer still allow the use of high intensity, low power drawing LED lamps. The RockBrawler™ Rear Bumper's recessed light buckets accept 2-1/2" Round, Clear LED Lamps—the same backup lamps we've sold with our Crusher Corners™. The recessed buckets protect them from the rocks and direct light rearward rather than into the bumper interior, the way some competitor's bracket-mounted lamps do. Customers may choose to wire them into the reverse light circuit, or wire them to a separate dash switch as a loading or utility light. IMPORTANT: Note that the LED Lamps do NOT come with this bumper, they must be purchased separately.
Integrated Spare Tire Carrier
The RockBrawler™ spare tire carrier is built from the highest quality components. The main structure of the tire carrier is fabricated from NC-bent DOM tubing and laser-cut, precision brake-formed plate steel. The extreme duty hinge assembly includes a CNC machined spindle and housing, with a pair of Timken tapered roller bearings for smooth operation under the heaviest loads. The latch is a high quality automotive grade mechanism, concealed in a fabricated housing. There is a spring-loaded pin-lock with stainless steel slider plate that locks the tire carrier into the open position to keep it from swinging around while accessing the Jeep's tailgate. The latch and pin lock are both easily disengaged with a simple pull of a knob. The tire mount is adjustable up and down, as well as in and out, to accomodate a wide variety of tire sizes up to 42". The adjustability allows the tire to be mounted as low as possible for any tire size, to keep a low center of gravity. The included license plate mount places the license plate at the center of the spare tire.
A custom Hi-Lift Jack Mount, available separately, is CNC laster cut and bolts to the top of the tire carrier. Also available separately is our LED License Plate & Third Brake Light with 6' Extension, to properly illuminate your relocated license plate.
The RockBrawler™ Rear Bumper is designed to work with your existing OE tow hitch. Unlike the integrated hitches found on competitor's bumpers, the OE hitch is designed for and safely rated for towing. And best of all, its easily removable. So those who need a sturdy hitch for towing can still use the stock one, while those who need the extra clearance for hard core off-roading can easily remove it. The RockBrawler™ Rear Bumper has a built-in step/recess to provide easy access to the rear of the Jeep as well as clearance for the spare tire. This bumper may be used with the stock spare tire carrier and up to a 35" tire. Poison Spyder Customs RockBrawler™ is the bumper of choice for the wheeler who wants pure hardcore function coupled with a brawny attitude. The RockBrawler™ is fabricated from 3/16" high pressure steel plate, CNC laser cut and brake-formed for a precise fit. The Stinger is made of 1.75" X .120 wall DOM tubing, and extends inside the bumper shell to the inner braces for added strength. The two D-ring shackle mounts are CNC-machined from 1" plate steel to provide brute strength for the most demanding recovery operations. Speaking of recovery, the integrated winch mount accepts most major manufacturer's winches up to 15,000 lbs. capacity, including the innovative Warn PowerPlant with integrated air compressor. The winch fairlead plate is flawlessly integrated into the bumper design, and doubles as gusseting for the Stinger, complete with Poison Spyder's signature oval lightning holes. Recessed light mounts are provided for retention of the factory fog lamps or aftermarket off-road lamps of your choice, and protect each one in a deep well of cold hard steel. The bumper has faceted ends that angle inward, giving your Jeep the ultimate in clearance for large tires, even under maximized suspension movement, and during full turn scenarios. The angled sillouhette of the bumper ends allow for this tire clearance while still protecting the lower corner of the Jeep's grille. The RockBrawler™'s removable lower cover has an integrated skid plate for protecting the front sway bar disconnect mechanism. Jeep JK models that are not equipped with the factory sway bar disconnect can still utilize this lower skid as added protection for the front end components. The fasteners for this cover/skid, as well as all external fasteners provided with the RockBrawler, are stainless steel flat-head cap screws for a flush surface and protection from the rocks. The Brawler™ MID front bumper for JK is a "mid-width", high clearance bumper designed to combine off-road performance with full features. This bumper is fabricated from 3/16" plate steel, CNC laser-cut and precision brake-formed into a low profile, high clearance design. The ends of the bumper extend farther outboard than our Brawler™ Lite bumper, to about half the width of the tires. This provides increased brush protection for the grille corners and fenders, and gives the Jeep a more "expeditionary" look than our more rock-crawling specific bumpers. The Brawler Bar is modeled after the bar found on our original RockBrawler™ front bumper. It is a low-profile stinger designed to provide protection to the winch, grille and radiator area. The Brawler Bar is made of CNC laser-notched, NC-bent 1¾" diameter .120" wall DOM tubing. The complex laser-cut notch allows the Brawler Bar to be welded to two different planes on the surface of the bumper, providing incredible strength. Two gusset styles are offered for strengthening the Brawler Bar. CNC laser-cut brake-formed 3/16" plate steel or CNC laser notched DOM tubing. Note: Warn PowerPlant winches are not a direct-fit with the DOM Tube gussets (they may be installed with some minor modifications by the installer).

The ends of the bumper extend far enough to protect the lower corner of the JK grille, but not far enough to hinder tire clearance or tire access to vertical obstacles. The Trail Stinger used on this version of the Brawler Lite™ is modeled after the famous Trail Stinger originally developed and popularized by Poison Spyder. This time-honored design has proven itself on hundreds of Jeeps over the past decade, providing simple, clean lines along with a measure of forward-flop protection. The Trail Stinger is made of CNC laser-notched, NC-bent 1¾" diameter .120" wall DOM tubing. The complex laser-cut notch allows the Brawler Bar to be welded to two different planes on the surface of the bumper, providing incredible strength. The Trail Stinger is fortified by a pair of 1¼" diameter .120" wall DOM tube gussets. Note: Warn PowerPlant winches are not a direct-fit with the DOM Tube gussets (they may be installed with some minor modifications by the installer).

The BFH™ bumper is CNC laser-cut from a single piece of high strength 3/16" plate steel, then precision brake-formed for an exact fit. The BFH™ bumper features an integrated winch mount and one-piece design. The optional Comp Stinger™ for the BFH™ front bumper matches the lines of our stand-alone Comp Stinger™s. For those getting into the more hard-core aspects of the sport, the Comp Stinger™ provides even better forward-roll prevention, as well as increased protection of the radiator area and engine compartment in the event of a rollover.
